If you are selling on Amazon and have not requested reimbursements from them yet, you need to read this! Essentially, Amazon owns your money, and they will not pay you until you request a reimbursement from them!
Amazon Owns Me Money?
Yes, you are entitled to a reimbursement from Amazon for a couple of reasons!
- Lost or Damaged Inventory: If your inventory gets lost or damaged while it’s under Amazon’s control in their warehouses, you are entitled to a reimbursement for the value of the lost or damaged items.
- Customer Returns: If a customer returns an item and Amazon fails to return it to your inventory or if the returned item is damaged, you can request a reimbursement for the loss.
- Fee Overcharges: Sometimes Amazon may overcharge you with fees, such as storage fees, FBA fees, or referral fees. You can claim reimbursements for discrepancies in the fees charged compared to what should have been charged.

So What Do I Need To Do?
There are a couple of tools out there that you can link with your Amazon Seller Account. They will scan all your orders, returns, fees, etc., and calculate whether Amazon owes you any money. After that, they even submit the reimbursement requests via the Amazon case portal.
I decided to go with Refully.ai. After some research, I found out they offer the lowest fees and are extremely easy to set up. They also don’t collect payment until the seller receives payment from Amazon. Refully is available in 21 countries.
Step 1: Sign up for Refully.ai
Click here to sign up for the tool in this tutorial. It is a very straightforward process. Just enter your details and connect your Amazon account with Refully. They will fully audit your account and let you know how much money Amazon owes you.

Step 2: Enter Account Details
First, you will need to connect your Amazon Seller account with Refully.ai. This is done via the official Amazon API and is honestly a breeze, even if you have no technical experience.
After this, you will need to add all the dimensions & weights for your products
Upon signing up and connecting the Amazon store with Refully, Refully will immediately start the

Step 3: Let Refully.ai do it’s magic!
The tool now has all the required information to calculate whether you are owed money by Amazon. It will review all your orders and see if they have overcharged you. For example, they might have placed a product in the wrong category and charged you the wrong fee.
After this, the tool will even submit the cases to Amazon Seller Support. Stating that you have been wrongfully charged and requesting a reimbursement.

Step 4: Receive Reimbursements Directly to your Seller Account
After following each step, Amazon will now start paying you for every error or overcharge they identify.
This process may take a few days to a few weeks, depending on the volume of claims and the complexity of each case. You’ll receive notifications from Amazon confirming the reimbursements, which will be credited directly to your Seller account.

How Much Does it Cost?
There is no upfront fee! These tools know this method works—I mean, they have built an entire business around it! So instead of charging an up-front fee, they charge an 18% fee based on the successfully reimbursed cases! And the first $1,000 is free!
If they didn’t get you anything reimbursed, you won’t have to pay anything, either.
I’m saying that if you have never done this, you are leaving free money on the table.
