Right now there is a battle between the two titans of product research: Helium 10 & Jungle Scout.
Both tools fight for the #1 spot as the best product research tool. Both have been adding features like crazy and altering their pricing structure to stay competitive. That is why I have decided to do another review and see which one I think is the best.
Jungle Scout vs Helium 10
I will base my decision on the following factors:
- Sales estimation accuracy
This seems to be the core function of any product research tool. How accurately can they estimate sales when I am doing product research? - Features
Both tools are mainly centered around their Chrome Extension. However, they both offer a lot more features. Let’s find out which one offers more features! - Pricing
1). Accuracy
Okay, let’s put it to the test. I have around 18 active SKUs, so I can just take 3 of my own products and compare my actual sales over the last months to what Jungle Scout and Helium 10 estimate.

And this is what I mean by there is a huge battle going on between these tools. One year ago, these tools did not have half of these features. They are always adding more and more features, trying to beat the competition. This is awesome for us Amazon sellers. Nowadays, these tools are becoming an all-in-one solution. Where in the past, you would need five different tools to do all this!
IMO, Helium has the upper hand when it comes to all the features it offers—unless you desperately need a giveaway platform, as that is one of the few things it doesn’t offer.

3). Pricing
Ok, this is where it gets interesting. So far, we have established that Jungle Scout is more accurate, but Helium 10 has more features.
So let’s compare the prices!

Jungle Scout $39 per Month
Jungle Scout is significantly cheaper!

All of this is just my opinion. I have been using both of these tools for years, and over time, you will develop a personal favorite. I guess this also depends on the ease of use and design of each tool.
I would advise everyone just to try out both tools themselves. Both of them have a free trial.

Jungle scout charges based on how much you sell now. So it can quickly become more expensive for people selling more than 500 orders a month fba.

i just relize yesterday that on products from patio, lawn and gardon category there is a huge difference between JS and H10
a BSR 1 in that category the asstimate sales on JS is 58.170 vs H10 28.252!!!
(I realized it when I check an item (256 BSR) with estimate sales on JS 10.113 vs H10 4.534
till I got to the end that in all items from the above category there is a huge difference.
so I am really confused who is more accurate. i did not check on the other categories.
now the this post. can you at least compare all your 18 SKUs with both tools and let us know your findings??
