What is Amazon Vine?
Vince Voice used the Early Reviewer Program, which was only available for Amazon Vendor Central sellers and cost $2,500 per enrollment! For this, people in the Vince Voice community would buy your product and leave a product review. This was a very good method of launching your product. It looks a lot like the Early Reviewer Program, although it’s a lot more expensive!

I am not sure if they will keep it free, but as of right now, enrolling up to 5 ASINs in the Vine Program is completely free! I have just enrolled 3 of my ASINs and did not get charged anything!
Amazon Requirements

Haha that has been a long wait. I just checked for you. Vine is has been pretty worthless for me. Did not get any reviews from it. Early Reviewer Program & Giveaways work much better for me.
